On the night of Wednesday, September 10, 2025, we will update Cicero LMS to version 1.49.1 (Cicero Mobile 1.13.1).
Cicero Mobile
We have made the following changes and fixes to Cicero Mobile:
It is now possible to toggle the display of closed accounts on and off in the account overview under Admin. Closed accounts are not shown in other areas, e.g. in materials selection lists and subscriptions.
When searching for bibliographic records and materials, 200 results are now displayed per page instead of 30.
In tables, it is now possible to configure which columns are displayed and in what order. The setting is saved in the browser so it will also be used at the next login.
It is now also possible to sort by multiple columns at the same time.
For users of DBC, Cicero Catalogue, and EDM
In bibliographic record search, when using the Classification search field, a wildcard is no longer automatically added to the end of the search text. You must add the wildcard yourself if you want to search more broadly.
Example: a search for “55” will only return results with “55”, while a search for “55*” will find both “55” and “55.8”.
For users of Cicero Catalogue
When searching for bibliographic records, the language can now be selected in a dropdown.

It is now possible to add a patron's card number(s) to printouts and notifications wherever patron information can be added, e.g. loan receipts and pickup notes.

Functionality for periodicals has been expanded:
It is now possible to specify placements for older materials in a subscription. These locations are used when the next issue of a periodical is received, and the current most recent materials then become the second-most recent - this corresponds to the current functionality for material groups in subscriptions.
Note: A material only changes placement if it is currently the most recent material and its placement matches the location for most recent materials. If, for example, the material has been moved to a branch not listed in the subscription’s placement, the placement will not be updated. The placement is also not updated if the newer and older placements are identical.
Currently specified placements in subscriptions will, upon rollout, be copied so that the subscription will show two identical placements. Therefore, no changes will occur to material placements until you configure this.
In a subscription, it is now possible to fetch prices from the supplier’s price service. This can be done by pressing the “Fetch price” button after selecting a supplier and supplier agreement.
In the receival process for materials and periodicals, you can now search by different statuses instead of only choosing to include received materials.
In the Periodical Data, it is now possible to add an internal note.
Discarding rules can now be set up on subscriptions. It is possible to configure how many issues of the given periodical record should be kept for the given subscription.
Materials on older issues linked to the subscription will be marked for discarding when the nightly job for discarding rules runs.
Note: If you have multiple subscriptions for the same periodical record, discarding rules must be set up for all subscriptions where you want materials to be marked for discarding.
Note also: For special issues and other periodical materials created outside the normal receiving flow, the discarding job cannot always calculate when the materials should be marked for discarding. Manual handling may therefore be necessary for some periodicals.
By default, discarding rules on subscriptions are not set up, so you must configure these yourself if you wish to use the functionality.

It is now possible to send notifications to suppliers if the expected delivery time for orders or periodicals has been exceeded. The notification is sent automatically on the day of the delay if configured, and can also be sent manually from a subscription or an order.
In connection with rollout, the expected delivery time will be updated on undelivered materials that do not already have a delivery time. The date is calculated based on when the order was created and the delivery deadline specified in the related supplier agreement.
CMS API
A new version of the endpoint for retrieving a patron's fees has been added. The new version includes specification of any fee type as well as VAT, if applicable.
New endpoint: /external/{agencyid}/patron/{patronid}/fees/v3
